Cordillera, CO- Another morning snowshoe hike in the White River National Forest, but this time we took the Stag Gulch trail 71866. This trail went up and up and up. We got some beautiful views through the aspens and a distant view of the Holy Cross Wilderness area. The hike was only about 1 1/2 miles, but it was straight up and the snow on the trail was crusty and harder to hike on in spots. It really took a lot out of us.
