Memorial Day in Edwards - We went to Edwards in visit with Jack and Ellen while they were in town. While there, Andrew and I decided to ride the trail through Glenwood Canyon. The trail is a paved bike path that follows the interstate highway, but a few feet below it. The trail follows the river pretty closely and in a few spots, the river is high enough to cover the path. We could not bike the entire trail, but we did go from Glenwood Springs up river as far as we could, until the trail was closed by high water. We saw some people rafting on the river and we couldn't believe how fast and rough the water was!
