FIBArk - FIBArk is a huge whitewater celebration that's taken place in Salida for 60 years! The crazy afternoon competition is called "The Hooligan Race". Participants can race anything that floats, except a boat! The most bizarre assortment of floating "crafts" came down the river, usually with it's occupants being tossed in the water by the rapids. The kayaks along the sides are for the safety of the Hooligan racers.
